His notable literary works include Rajkahini, Shakuntala, Kshir’s Putul, Nalak, Pathe Bipathe, Jorasanko Dhare, Apan Kotha, Gharoya, Buro Angla, Nahush, Alor Fulki, Rangberang, Priyadarshika, Bharat Shilpa’s Saranga, ‘Ake Tin Tine Ek’ etc. .

Writer Abanindranath Tagore gained a special reputation in the country as a multi-talented painter, sculptor and writer and played a leading role in various events at home and abroad on the subject of painting and sculpture.
