Birth & Education:
Rumana Baishakhi was born on May 12, 1985, in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She grew up in the city and pursued higher education at Eden College, where she earned a master’s degree in chemistry.
Professional Career:
Though academically trained as a chemist, she chose journalism as her profession. She has been involved in writing since childhood. She worked as the editor of the lifestyle section of ‘Priya.com’ for a long time. She has also worked as the assistant editor of the monthly literary magazine ‘Alo O Chhaya’.
Literary Journey:
Her first piece of writing was published in 1996 when she was in sixth grade. By the end of her higher secondary studies, she had already published her first book. Horror, supernatural thrillers, and science fiction became her favorite genres. Her famous books include ‘Abomanab‘ and ‘Shayatin‘.
